Student Support
The application form for each academic year should be available in May or June of that year. The local papers usually advertise when they are available. Students who make an application for a maintenance grant are encouraged to apply well before the closing date as it gets particularly busy at that time.
There are three schemes operated by VECs:
The Student maintenance grant is a means tested payment.
